Launching and navigating CRU

  • Double-click on the .exe file, and you will receive a prompt for UAC permission to allow registry access.
  • Check the drop-down list and select active display. (active) Next to the name, it indicates that it’s currently connected.
  • If * appears, it means changes have already been made. (If you are using multiple screens, you have to set the display separately for each screen).

  • In the detailed resolution section, click to add an option.
  • Enter the width and height of your screen (typically 1920 x 1080). Select refresh rate 75Hz instead of 60Hz.
  • You can also adjust timing, sync polarity, and pixel clock.

Edit an existing custom resolution

  • Select the existing custom resolution section, and edit it to modify timing details. It helps push performance (overclocking) and refine compatibility.
